« Séjour calme, très calme » est une installation vidéo sur deux écrans. Le film est un huis clos s’articulant autour de moments d’ennui, d’intimité et de tension entre une mère et ses deux filles.
Le trio ne sort pas de l’appartement, la lumière du jour ne pénètre jamais à l’intérieur.
Nous observons leur captivité en les regardant manger, respirer, dormir. L’intimité est représentée dans un quotidien déstructuré, presque chaotique. Karine, Manon et Mila vont créer des moments pour transfigurer leur quotidien. Leurs actions deviennent alors des situations mentales.
Peu à peu, on se laisse engloutir par leur univers étrange et inconfortable, questionnant le temps, le temps du film et le temps dans le film. L’esthétique cinématographique contraste avec l’absence de narration construite.
Il s’agit d’une immersion totale du spectateur dans un espace apnéique, hors du temps, qu’il sera soulagé de quitter.

“Calm stay, very calm” is a video installation on two screens. The film is behind closed doors revolving around moments of boredom, intimacy and tension between a mother and her two daughters.
The trio does not leave the apartment, the light of day never penetrates inside.
We observe their captivity by watching them eat, breathe, sleep. Intimacy is represented in an unstructured, almost chaotic daily life. Karine, Manon and Mila will create moments to transfigure their daily lives. Their actions then become mental situations.
Little by little, we let ourselves be swallowed up by their strange and uncomfortable universe, questioning time, the time of the film and the time in the film. The cinematic aesthetic contrasts with the absence of constructed narration.
It is a total immersion of the spectator in an apneic space, out of time, which he will be relieved to leave.
